Yog Yogeshwar Mahaprabhu Ramlal Ji Bhagwan is widely known as an incarnation of God Himself . He was born at a time when India laid not attained its independence. A moral darkness prevailed everywhere in the society. Diseases and disorders were on the increase. Mankind was fast losing his character, morality and divinity. Spiritual attainment had become a thing of dream . Truthfulness and other noble qualities were on the verge of extinction. Nobility had disappeared as if it never existed. The whole world was fast becoming industrialized. Its side effects in the form of pollution, mental disorders and chronic diseases were spreading like a wild fire. Yoga had become a thing confined to scriptures.
A divine personality, Shri Mahaprabhu Ji who was a pioneer in the field of Yoga, kindled the torch of Yoga for the emancipation of mankind from all sorts of pains , grief and sorrow. Mahaprabhu Ji had realized that it was only ‘Yoga’, the lost science of the old ages that could serve as a ray of hope for the doomed world . He played the role of a rescurrator for yoga and made it available to the common man . It is for his divine powers, his noble deeds and hits mission of serving the suffering masses that he is rightly called a Divine incarnation.
Maharishi Kak Bhushundi in his “Kak Naadi Samhita” had a forecast regarding the birth and future of Shri Mahaprabhu Ji. It was inscribed on a ‘Tad Patra’.
This ‘Tad Patra’, prepared thousands of years before the actual birth of Shri Prabhu Ji, was written in ‘Telgu’. It was found at Kumar Nadi Jyotishalaya, Raipet, Madras. It foreheld that a child with the name ‘Ramlal’ will born at Amritsar to Smt. Bhagwanti Devi and Pt. Ganda Ram as his parents. At the age of twelve he would leave his home breaking all worldly bondages and attain ‘Vairagya’ . He would attain the state of Samadhi through great tapas in the heart of Himalayas clad with snow. In due course he would gain all ‘Siddhis’ and perfection . Being one with the God even great yogis and sages would follow him as the master of the world. His blessings would initiate millions on the path of yoga.
Yogeshwar Mulakh Raj Ji Maharaj confirmed facts about the life of his ‘Gurudev’. Mahaprabhu Ramlal possessed a great knowledge of astronomy, astrology and yoga. He had toured extensively in the country initiating thousands. After the circular pilgrimage round the river Narmada and crossing deep forests of Assam he entered Nepal. From there he was taken to the heights of Himalayas by his Sadgurudeva ‘Mahaprabhu Ji’ the matter of all yogis on whom the time had no effect. It was there that he attained perfection in ‘Samadhi’. He could then sit together for months in ‘Ecstacy’ and at the same time could be present anywhere. Finally , Ramlal Mahaprabhu Ji carried throughout his life the work of spreading yoga. It was because of the efforts and then after him his successor, Yogeshwar Mulakh Raj Ji Maharaj and now Swami Devi Dayal Ji Maharaj that yoga has become to popular in the country and abroad. We find yoga in the schools and everywhere. Swami Devi Dayal Ji Maharaj has expedited the work all the more by establishing over 35 regular yoga training centres in every nook and corner of the country.
The force behind all the noble activities its still the same. Although Mahaprabhu Ramlal Ji Maharaj is not physically there but his grace still works and it will continue to work for all the times to come. This is evident and amply proved by the miracles and divine experiences of his devotees and followers. Devotees with deep reverence and utmost faith pull his divine force from all pervading cosmos to shower on them his benevolent blessings. It is though this force that they are marching ahead with the noble mission of relieving the mankind of the diseases and disorders prevailing in the modern society.
The birth anniversary of Mahaprabhu Ramlal Ji is celebrated on Ram Navmi every year under the guidance of Swami Devi Dayal Ji Maharaj at Shri ‘Yog Abhyas Ashram, Kankhal’ and at other centres.
A number of incidents can be narrated to show how his grace worked and still works.
Mahaprabhu Ji the divine personality and resurrector of yoga in the modern times was full of mercy for the suffering masses. His blessing relieved the thousands of their sins, miseries and pains. He travelled far and wide throughout the country and wherever he went his gracious presence proved a boon for all.
Once Mahaprabhu Ramlal Ji saw a grand temple constructed on a high mound at the banks of Narmada during his circular pilgrimages round the river Narmada. No one was present in the temple. It was a fine solitary place and Shri Mahaprabhu Ji decided to stay there with his disciples for the night. As they were preparing for it the caretaker(munim) of the temple reached on the spot and opposed by telling that no one could be allowed to stay here. On being asked the reason he disclosed that if by chance someone slept there in the night he was found dead in the morning. This bad happened many times in the past and the poor villages had the contribute for their funeral. As for your big group the poor folks would find it difficult to arrange for the wood to cremate the dead bodies. So please have mercy on them and stay somewhere else.
On this Shri Mahaprabhu Ji assured him that this would not happen with them. Although the munim did not believe the words, but no seeing that Shri Mahaprabhu Ji was determined to stay there with his disciples, the poor fellow had no alternative but to leave the place for village as it was gradually getting dark. He gave this news to the villagers. Shri Mahaprabhu Ji and others passed the night comfortably. The munim was again there in the morning accompanied by the villagers and everyone was surprised to find the members of the group alive. He fell down on the lotus feet of Shri Mahaprabhu Ji, saying that as a miracle had happened he could not be a common man. “You are a divine personality”- he uttered. It was the first time that some one staying in the temple found alive in the morning.
At this Shri Mahaprabhu Ji smiled and said that it was all due to grace to God.
When enquired about the temple and the reason for not holding the prayers and regular worships the ‘muneem’ narrated that years back a millionaire from Calcutta got it constructed magnificently by spending huge sums. But unfortunately it lacked something and was bewitched with the evil that if anybody stayed there he was found dead in the morning and he who worshipped there also died within three or four days. This had happened with many priests who had dared to stay, worship and perform religious rites. Knowing this no one even thought of paying a visit to this place.
At this Shri Mahaprabhu Ji asked him to open the doors and told that from that day he would perform the ‘poojan’. It continued for four or five days without the slightest effect on Shri Mahaprabhu Ji. It was another successive miracle for all living in nearby villages. The people were full of praise for the divine personality , Shri Mahaprabhu Ji. The rich man who had got it ready also reached the village on getting the message, through a telegram from the ‘muneem’. With great reverence to prostrated before Shri Mahaprabhu Ji and described how he had spent money like water, but had been very sad and shocked to find that the very purpose of worshiping the deities and holding “Poojan” was not served. He said,” I am extremely happy to these sufferings and now I surrender and offer the temple to you. I am prepared to spend Rs. hundred per day or any other amount, as stay there forever”. At this Shri Mahaprabhu Ji told that it was not possible for him to stay there, but his stay for these few days had eliminated the ‘fault’ whatever it was and the temple was now free of the ‘curse’. A priest could be appointed without any hitch and fear. The rich man did accordingly and himself because a devout(disciple) to Shri Mahaprabhu Ji. His joy had no bounds when he saw the great rush temple. He arranged for food to all the visitors. On hearing about the divine grace of Shri Mahaprabhu Ji thousands of people from far and near started coming to the place. The temple owing to its grand situation on the high mound presented a magnificent view spot as all the nearby villages were distinctly visible from there.
