During the course of His parikrama around the Narmada, Prabhuji had to pass through forests and mountains. On His way, He saw a bye-path leading to a mountain. Prabhuji left His concourse there and along with Hariharanand, proceeded ahead on that route. Hardly had He moved forward when Prabhuji saw a saffron-robed woman chasing away a lion with a pair of tongs. As soon as she saw Him, she forgot about the lion and realizing that He was a great soul, bowed respectfully and paid her solemn homage to Him. In response to her request, Prabhuji visited her guru’s place where He was very warmly received by her guru, a yogi mahatma. They had a purposeful discourse on yoga. Hariharanand, however, intended to know about the level of yogic attainment of that woman. Simultaneously, her guru also prayed to Prabhuji to assess his pupil’s knowledge of yoga. Prabhuji made several queries on practical aspects of yoga to which she correctly responded. At this, Prabhuji told the mahatma that the level of her yogic achievements was quite upto the mark and she possessed the required characteristics of a yogi as well. Prabhuji blessed her and left for His onward journey. The mahatma also accompanied Him for some distance and went back to his place after seeking His permission.
